Web Communications

Web Communications covers web development, using code to build a webpage from the ground up in Adobe Dreamweaver. The course is split into two groups:

Front End

This is the appearance end of a webpage; students will learn how to:

  • Use HTML5, CSS and JavaScript to develop a webpage’s appearance
  • Integrate content into a webpage
  • Create an intuitive and responsive webpage

Back End

This is the backbone of a webpage, students will learn how to:

  • Use PHP to develop an interactive webpage
  • Use MySQL and databases to create data driven websites
  • Use Wordpress and create their own content management system
