This photo was taken just before the sun disappeared behind the horizon; the clouds caught a red glow just behind the forest. The whole day I had been attempting to get pictures of a silhouette but had been having no luck. I poised myself on a chair to gaze over my back fence at the forest held my breath and snapped several pictures only moments later the red was replaced by the black of a fall evening.
Edits
This picture, amazingly enough, has no edits, the raw photo was beautiful enough without needing to do anything. It is one of the few photos I have taken where I have not thought that there was work still to be done.
